Refund policy

Refunds
Our cakes are handmade with care, and every order is important to us. If something isn’t right, please let us know within the required timeframe. A 20% non-refundable fee applies once your order is confirmed. Approved refunds may be issued as a bank transfer or store credit, at our discretion.

  • In the event that a rush order is processed after the cut-off period without prior approval, we may need to issue a refund minus the payment processing fee.
  • Rush fees are non-refundable. The cost of the cake portion may potentially be refunded based on investigation.
  • Any concerns must be raised within 24 hours of receiving your order, with written details and photo evidence. Claims made after this timeframe will not be considered.
  • To assess any complaint, the uneaten portion must be returned to us by the customer for inspection.

  • Please check your cake at collection. Concerns about design or finish must be raised immediately. Refunds will only be considered later if the cake clearly differs from the confirmed order.

  • Once your order has been picked up or handed over to you, responsibility for its care is transferred to you.

  • Refunds are not available for personal taste preferences.

  • Cakes that have been fully or mostly eaten are ineligible for refunds.

Cancellations

  • 7 days or more notice: Eligible for an 80% refund. The remaining 20% covers time, planning, and admin already committed to your order.

  • Less than 7 days notice: Orders are non-refundable and non-creditable, as we have set aside the time for your order to be created at the expense of other customers. 7 days is counted from 8am 7days prior to your due date.

All refunds, credits, or goodwill gestures are made solely at our discretion.


Date Change Policy

  • Within 7 days of booking: Date changes are not permitted. Your booking is confirmed and resources are reserved exclusively for you.
  • Outside 7 days of booking (i.e. more than 7 days before the scheduled date): You may request to reschedule your booking subject to availability. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred new date, but we cannot guarantee availability. If no suitable date is available, your original booking date will remain in place.

Note: If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Rescheduling requests will be considered upon availability and on a case-by-case basis, and associated fees may apply.


Agreement

By placing an order with Waddle & Whisk, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions regarding refunds, cancellations and date changes.
